I'm afraid old versions are often deleted from the web server as it doesn't have much disk space. It may be possible to build 1.76 for you.

Can you explain a bit more what you are trying to do?

In the old versions (e.g. 1.7.6), it was possible to set "Default scale"... That option was removed when 1.7.7 came out.

20th January 2015
DCP-o-matic 1.77.0 was released. This version includes:
---snip---
Remove default scale configuration option and instead guess the initial scale from the content's size and pixel aspect ratio.

The new 'guessing' algorithm in 2.5.0 is really good, especially with true HD files (1920x1080).

I have a few 1.76.xx(64) builds in my archive. I don't know wether the feature you are looking for is in all of these.

In how far is the v1.76 'Scale To' option different from other versions? I can't remember anything specific around that function.

Ah, so Danny: you want the fixed and configurable scaling rather than the scaling guessed based on the content? Is this because the guessing is going wrong?

It seems he is after the preferences default scale option.

Anyway, I put my latest 1.76 build (temporarily) here:

Hi Carl,

I Just want to use the same Scale-format for all contents, that I'm encoding.

Kind regards

Are your contents different sizes? It shouldn't be a big problem to re-add that feature.

I remember we talked about arbitrary scale factors a couple of times. I wish there could be a way to have a 'custom' button that would allow to put in separate x and y scaling factors, with an option to lock aspect ratio.
Yes, I know this also calls for trouble, I don't want to see images stretched just to fill the screen...
