Hello!
I was working on converting a 1980x1080 DNxHQ file w/5.1 SMPTE audio to a DCP, and while the video plays fine on VLC media player, when I drop the file into DCP-o-matic, the video quality dropped to a crazy degree - everything looks overtly sharp and pixelated. Any ideas on why this might have happened? I've used this software for multiple projects in the past with multiple codecs and file types, but none have ever caused this particular problem before.
Thanks!
Issue with 1980x1080 DNxHQ file?

Hi,
That's strange; if you are not already you could try the test version as that has a newer version of the decoding library (FFmpeg) than the stable version.

Ah! That appears to have been the issue, the file looks fine now. Wish I'd posted on this forum last night! Thanks for such a quick response!

Which version did you use before?
