Could you please try the test version as I think this is hopefully fixed there.

Hello,
Problem solved.
I had to change the audio playback device in system settings. It looks that it doesn't recognize the SPDIF output from my Creative Labs Audigy 2ZS (yes, old but gold).
I will make a test with the beta release and will let you know if it works.

Gave it a try and got the same error. The only working way that I know of it's by changing the audio device playback output.

We have seen these crashes caused by the active audio devices every now and then. Could be hard to fix such system dependant issues.
Usually, setting a different device fixed it. I understand this may not be so easy for every user.
