VF files error messages

Hi everyone.

I seem to be running into an issue when I try to make VFs. I have followed the user guide and information from the forum here to produce a DCP OV file and then 2 VFs, each with different language subtitles as a test.

I have created test packages in IOP format with and without KDMs. I tested them on a Sony R515 setup with TMS. The OV file ingested to the TMS without issue but when I ingested the VFs I got the following message "Failed to refresh DCPs of Library Server, the items in the DCP (Name of DCP) isnt found un Assest Map." for both VFs.

I have used the same files and tried it again but with DCP-o-matic to playback the package. Again the OV file plays fine within DCP-o-matic when I add the KDM however when I tried to playback a version file after adding the KDM I get the following error message "Error: Unresolved reference to assest id"

Does anyone know what maybe causing this issue and how I can resolve it. I do not need to be able to do subtitles straight away but the ability to generate DCP packages with VFs would be very handy for the cinema I supply DCP packages to for their in house on screen adverts.

What version of DCP-o-matic are you using?

I have upgraded to the latest version of 2.6.3 but it also occurred with the previous version

Could you could send the .xml files from the OV and one of the VF DCPs to carl@dcpomatic.com?

Just curious if there was a resolution here? I had an issue opening VFs in EasyDcp player (it crashes).

The trail went cold on this I'm afraid. Perhaps you could send the XML files (including ASSETMAP) from the OV and VF DCPs that you are trying to play in EasyDCP player? carl@dcpomatic.com

Thank you, Carl. I already deleted them, but I will try again soon. I suspect it is just EasyDcp.. I've never much cared for that software. Trying to run a VF isn't the only way to make it crash. LOL! At least on my system, with the trial version.
