i tried finding the config.xml file on mac at the specified place ( OS X: /Users/your_user_Name/Library/Preferences/com.dcpomatic/2 )
but i could not find it.
Where could the config.xml file be ?
i am on mac 10.9.5

You can delete the DCP if you have a working DKDM.

The DCP folder itself is not needed to make KDMs. Depending on your filesystem, deleting the video folder may also restore a large amount of space.
