There is also a question why the program will automatically close after an error, there is no way to adjust or modify the error parameters

The 'CANNOT reference this DCP it is smpte and the film is set to interop' is probably irrelevant in this case, it is not the cause of your error. From what I see, you are trying to open a project that used a DCP as source media, that is no longer available (or it's location has changed). Can you remember which version of DCP-o-matic was used to create that project?

There is a bug in 2.13.26 which causes an error on loading a project with missing DCP content, 2.13.27 will be up shortly.

DCP-o-matic 2.13.23 create
