Hi,
Sorry if this has been answered a thousand times but I can't find anything at the moment.
I just built a scope DCP using 2.14.54. When I look at it in DOM Player, I get a squeezed result? Is this normal behavior?
Thanks!

Hi!
Did it look good in DOM when creating DCP? It looks like you haven't resized your source image to fit into a scope container.

Hi scorpio81, thanks for your reply.
The dcp looks fine in DCP-o-matic but look squeezed in DCP-o-matic Player.

That's odd. Have never experienced that sort of problem.
What kind of source image do you have? Is it true scope or letterboxed scope in FullHD container?
Can you try playing your DCP in some other player?

Re: DOM Player Aspect Ratio
It looks like the aspect ratio is fine in DCP-o-matic Player now that I set the "Default scale-to" option from "1.85 Flat" to "Guess from content" under DCP-o-matic's Preferences, not DCP-o-matic's Player Preferences, DCP-o-matic's Preferences.
Basically, that "Default scale-to" option in DCP-o-matic's Preferences also controls the aspect ratio of the DCP-o-matic Player.
It would be a bit more intuitive to have that option in the Player's Preferences too.
Hope that make sense.

Re: DOM Player Aspect Ratio
I can confirm that this bug is reproduced on the latest stable version of DOM for Win.
I have not experienced this bug because I've always had "Default scale-to" option set to "Guess from content" and I've never changed it. I guess it's the default value right after the installation.

Oh wow, what a nasty little bugger. Carl, any idea since when this is there? Can't believe it was overlooked for along time? Admittedly, if it only credits for small aspect ratio changes, people would probably not notice it often as the player is mostly used for basic checking, assuming that everything was set correctly in DCP-o-matic main for DCP creation.
