Why is the new version so slow at analyzing audio
Why is the new version so slow at analyzing audio while the old version is faster?

Re: Why is the new version so slow at analyzing audio
True. Analysing the same file, and in both cases doing loudness, etc, 2.14.59 keeps only 2-4 cores busy around 30-40% - while 2.16.65/2.17.7 keeps all 8 cores busy close to 100% - but takes 5 times longer.
Strange - even if I disable loudness analysis - it still keeps all 8 cores fully busy AND takes the same time. Though, I do notice that even if I disable loudness analysis in prefs, DCP-o-matic will still perform LEQ(M).
I remember that audio analysis time varied greatly over the years and versions in DCP-o-matic, but for some reason, it has reverted to being awfully slow in current versions.
I checked some older versions and noticed it was good in 2.15.30, but slow in 2.15.70.
