No DCP settings menu?

Post by Puffin »

Making my first DCP in a while, and I can't find the menu where you can edit the language, number of reels, etc.

I remember editing this in the past so that it would update the name of the DCP to fit DCNC protocol, but now all I see is Name, Content Type (Feature), Container, Resolution, Frame Rate, and a 3D checkbox. Under that is nothing, no language, or anything else. I don't see anything in the menus either. Is something disabled or am I missing a button somewhere?

Can you show us a screenshot of your DCP tab?

The DCNC options have vanished with the need to support SMPTE/RDD52 compliant DCPs including Metadata. DCP-o-matic will still create a DCNC name, but puts it together from data (e.g. audio language) that is set in other dialogs. Another possibility is that you use an older or intermediate version that had the option to offer a 'simple' user interface that lacks many options. You can set the GUI back to full options in prefs, if that is the case.

Which DCP-o-matic version are you using?
