Is it possible to make a VF with OV within itself?

Hi,

Recently I wanted to make a new version of existed DCP with another video file combined.
I have tried a VF method, but it turned out that the VF needs OV separately.

So I want to know that is it possible to make some kind of VF that does not need to add OV after, when you want to open it.

That question is not clear. A VF always refers to a separate OV. Some servers ingest the OV assets automatically when you ingest just the VF. Some servers need to have OV and VF ingested separately. DCP-o-matic player also needs to load the VF first, then assign the OV. But DCP-o-matic player is not a server, and all servers do it slightly different.

If you want a VF to contain the OV - you simply untick the VF option and create a new OV that contains all original content AND changes in one DCP.
