Just wondering what the status of the development of the DOM player is? I don't see any comments in the release notes for some time indicating the player has had any attention.
What's the current roadmap and wishlist for it?

There's a variety of bugs/wishes in the tracker and I guess the general one is to improve performance. I'm looking (slowly) at making a metal renderer for macOS to see if that works better than OpenGL.
