Do you mean in terms speakers positions or codec ingest?

I would probably allow DOM to decompress the codec to PCM. And if it was DTS-ES 6.1, I would probably convert it to 7.1 by sending the Cs to Lrs and Rrs with a 4.5 dB gain reduction.

That is, DOM supports only PCM and AC-3, right?

DCPs only support PCM audio. DCP-o-matic, through FFMPEG, will support very many different audio codecs in input files and convert them to PCM suitable for DCP. It will not, however, solve all possible channel assignments properly. Usually, AC-3 in 5.1 and dts/DTS-HD in 5.1 and 7.1 will have channels assigned properly. For DTS-ES, you need to adjust the audio matrix as mentioned.
