DCP-o-matic 2.16.97 released

Post by carl »

Download it now from here.

This release fixes a bug introduced in 2.16.96 (which wasn't available for very long). If you did download 2.16.96 I would suggest replacing it with 2.16.97 to avoid errors.
  • Fix errors when adding some content, introduced by mistake in the previous version (#2887).
2.16.96 added:
  • Add missing marker types FFOB/LFOB (#2886).
  • Obtain audio length by scanning through the file if required (#2880).

Hi,

not sure if it's the right place.

I have the feeling this version introduced a new problem :

I can no longer make 'multi-selection' in the content panel.

Let's say I want to crop 64px left and right from many still images and image sequences ( folders ) in the list of contents,
I have to do it one by one content.

And for some unknown reasons ( my working process has not changed for long ) some contents appears as 3D instead of 2D.

It worked OK in previous versions 2.16.94 and 2.16.95.

Ubuntu 22.04 here ( gnome/gtk ).

Does anybody see the same behavior ?

On my Mac in 2.16.95, I can select multiple images in the content list and then adjust cropping - but effectively, it only adjusts the cropping values of one image - the first one that I selected before selecting the others. When I click on the other images, I see that the cropping values are all still at zero and have not been touched.

I can, though, copy source settings using CMD+C and CMD+V (don't know what that is in Ubuntu) - and that includes cropping, and may be a workaround for you.

I see what you mean with the cropping - though I'd be surprised if this only broke in the last couple of versions. I'll take a look tomorrow.

As far as I can see the multi-select has been broken since 2.16.31

I'll make a new release with a fix shortly. Is the 2D/3D problem repeatable?

Hi,

Carsten made a much better description than mine, thanks !

About 2D/3D mismatch, I can't « reliably » reproduce the behaviour.
I end up thinking I changed it manually without noticing it ; I heavily use mousewheel…

The multi-select should be working again in 2.16.98.
