This is my first time doing a DCP, and overall the experience has been smooth. This DPC I'm creating will be shown at a film festival with a DCI-P3 projector, and the footage has been graded in rec709.
Now, should i convert to P3 in the settings tab or keep it to 709?
I've tried a quick export in P3, but on my monitor some colors 'looked' burned. I don't know if it's due to my hardware not being able to display the P3 color space (which then would look correct from a P3 projector) or if there's some other issue
Newbie needs help selecting the right colorspace for a P3 Projector

It seems there is some kind of confusion here.
DCP-o-matic has settings for the input only, since the export is for DCI servers and it is standard (X'Y'Z').
So, if you want to set something up, will be the input, according to what you "feed" it. In your example, Rec709.

Yup. If your source is rec.709, use rec.709 or BT.1886. DCP-o-matic does the necessary conversion into the DCI color space.
