How to migrate DKDM stored in DOM for mac to DOM for windows

Hi CArl,

Is it possible to migrate the DKDMs stored in DOM running in MAC to DOM for windows?
So that i can be able to generate kdms using DKDMs in windows computers.

Hi, if you copy the config.xml over it should work. The locations of these files are described here.

I copied the config.xml file but unfortunately, nothing happens..The DOM automatically exits.

No error upon opening the kdm generator..The target DKDMs appear but no cinemas..when trying to load cinemas ..error popped-up..

You need to copy the file cinemas.xml (which is next to config.xml) as well. Unfortunately you then need to open config.xml in a text editor and look for the line

Code: Select all

<CinemasFile>/some/thing/or/other</CinemasFile>
and change /some/thing/or/other to the new path of your config.xml. Does that make sense?
