external CUDA JPEG2000 encoder

Hi,

is it possible to add experimental support or any type of adaptation to free CUDA JPEG2000 encoder to use it as something like external encoder ? Thanks.

Trust me, Carl is monitoring various GPU aided approaches, but so far, none have proven to comply with his and/or DOMs needs.

For the time being, get as many cores/hardwarethreads as possible to speed-up encoding. Various older dual-cpu workstations can be bought for very little money now on ebay.
