Hi Carl,
The DCP sent to one cinema is only showing green throughout the movie. It was playing normal in another cinema. The dcp is encrypted.The KDM is successfully ingested. Any idea what might have gone wrong?

Hi!
Could you tell something about DCP specs? Is it Interop or SMPTE? What are framerate and image container?
What are the server and the projector in both cases?

Funky colors often means someone's trying to play a 3D clip in 2D, somewhere in the playlist. Or, if the projector is running Dual-SDI, one of the channels is missing (bad or loose cable connection on the server and/or projector).

That's right. For now, I would assume the DCP is okay, but the operator is doing something wrong.
What framerate, and what datarate did you chose for this DCP, and do you know what type of server they use?

Is it dual SDI, is only one plugged in. Have seen it mostly green when second SDI is not plunged in.

Re: DCP playbck server only plays green
This green thing is something that everyone who has installed several systems has run into, so we seem pretty sure of ourselves. The two HD-SDI cables divide the Cb and Cr chrominance channels from the Y and Y' luminance channels. When the first goes, green is what remains. So, bad connector or cable, or the output card on the media player or input card in the projector.
It would be hard to imagine how that would happen in your DCP.
Can the cinema play anything with that projector? If so, maybe that system can handle some bandwidth but not yours? Did you push the limit? ...go above 250? Anyway, odd.
Please follow-up with the story of how the issue resolved.

BTW, to the Topic Starter:
Is it solid green with no image or an image in green tone? Possible solution depends on what you exactly see.

Well, the first thing that comes to my mind is the frame rate or image container isn't supported by projector and/or server.
Please specify:
- frame rate of your DCP;
- image container;
- server name and model;
- projector name and model.

+ datarate with which the DCP/MXF have been created/encoded.
We can't help if we don't get more information.
