What version have you upgraded to?
What were you doing when the error occurred?

I tried 2.9.0 and 2.9.5 versions...

It happens when I try to encode DCP... I downgraded to 2.8.0 and now everything is fine. Are there any log files I can send you to help?

Right, are you trimming the start of your content?

Maybe reset prefs after upgrading to 2.9 or 2.9.5.

Yes, just sound.

How to trash preferences and not destroy certificates and DKDMs already made for DOM? :)

Your problem should be fixed in 2.9.8 if you would like to try that.

If you start using certificates and encryption, make sure you understand all issues properly. Read the manual. Even without prefs reset, you should save/export all certificates to a backup when you begin working with encryption so you can restore them when needed. After all, that's why Carl build these options into the software.

Browse this forum to see the issues people have who took it too easy. If you don't understand DCP encryption - don't use it!

I exported and backed up everything. Since I have two workstations, I could probably test it when I get back from vacation. I actually don't use encription. I just get a lot of encrypted DCPs that I have to edit, so I need my KDMs to be valid after upgrades.
