How to make a KDM, a DCP created for different cinemas, without redoing the dcp

Post by deathtaker »

Hello, how do I make several KDM for different cinemas, the same dcp, without doing the process of creating the DCP again? ...

Once you have created an encrypted DCP, you can select multiple cinemas/screens in the 'Make KDM' dialog to have KDMs created for all them. For this to be possible, you first have to setup your cinema/screen database with names and certificates of their individual servers. Another way is to do the same based on a DKDM in KDM Creator. In that case, you do no longer need the encrypted DCP/CPL/metadata file being present. Although it is advised to keep the path with at least metadata and CPL for later reference.
