Hi,
I would like to make encrypted DCP with two CPL.
At the first, make DCP consist of promotion clip and movie.
Make key for playing this DCP.

At the second, make referenced VF but change start position.

I would like have two different keys.
The first for opening promotion clip and movie without possibility start from movie only.
The second key for opening movie only without playing promotion clip.

That SHOULD work straight away. Create OV, refer to OV and create VF with added trimming. Haven't tried though.

Hi all, i having problem with make two keys.
I do this:
1. Create new project with name "FULL"
2. Click Add files and adding two clips, the first is trailer, the seccond is movie
3. Set Encrypted
4. Make DCP
5. Make KDM for "FULL"

6. Create new project with name "TRIM"
7. Click Add folder and import "FULL"
8. Set Refer to existing DCP for video and audio
9. Add KDM
10. Do trim to second clip.
11. Set Encrypted
12. Make DCP
13. Make KDM for "TRIM"

14. Create new project with name "TEST"
15. Add folder "TRIM"
16. Add OV ("FULL")
17. I Have message "NEEDS KDM"

Now I Adding KDM for "CROP" and have "NEEDS KDM" again.
If I adding KDM for "FULL" I can open any CPL
I would like have two KDMs, the first for opening "FULL"(trailer and movie) without possibilities switch to "TRIM" CPL and the seccond KDM for opening "TRIM"(movie only) version.

I think this is bug 975. The TRIM KDM you create should include the keys for the MXFs from FULL.

Are you trying to force people to play the trailer if they play the movie? This is basically impossible: if all else fails, they could douse the projector and turn the volume down until the movie starts...

Hi all!
The KDM for TRIM DCP should only unlock TRIM DCP on cinema server, not FULL DCP. Your TRIM DCP should have UUID different from the one of FULL DCP, so should KDMs. Cinema servers identify DCPs and KDMs by UUIDs and allow playback only if a DCP with certain UUID has a KDM with exactly the same CPL UUID.
But in your case I would make DCPs very differently. First I would make OV DCP with movie only and then make VF DCP with trailer/promo added. This is how most commercial movie DCPs with trailers are made.

The KDM bugs should be fixed in 2.10.8 if you would like to try that.
